NEED SOME GENUINE GUIDANCE, encouragement or ASSISTANce?

My name is Jocelyn Badali Barrett and I am a Wedding Planning and Coordination Liaison, an eternally creative and sentimental woman with  tremendous hustle and heart to set me a part. My mission is to be there with  friendly guidance as you embark on this terrific milestone, to host the most joyous occasion, treating your family and friends like my own honored guests… And to help you align everything so your event  truly shines! 

 I was inspired to become a Day-of Coordinator after planning and executing my own wedding in 2016. I thought I had all of the dots connected, and everything ready to rock, but it all became very overwhelming come the week of my wedding. I have great sadness for not being able to be present with my family for their only visit to the Pacific Northwest because I was too concerned about coordinating  how everything would get there, shopping for  menu items , hanging lights & decor and all the last minute tasks… having to greet and deal with the vendors and their questions, set up tables, chairs, linens, table scapes, photo displays, handle the music,etc..etc…….

Orchestrating everything coming in for the big day really took away from me being able to spend time with my cherished guests. It was that day that I realized the value of having someone else there to be responsible for all this. And while I can’t turn back time and do it again, I can move forward to be there for others when they need me the most. 

It is not an easy task, but if you do it with all the joy in your heart then you ‘re doing it right!

In 2022 & 2023, I have had the honor of providing this role to 108 couples by subcontracting my services through two  gorgeous venues; the  5 star Award-winning Ainsworth House and Gardens in Oregon City (Where I am the Senior Event Manager) and a elevated, rustic 82 acre gem Camp Colton in rural Colton.  As well as an intimate affair at a private residence, a gorgeous ceremony on a promenade deck on the Williamette River in Lake Oswego, a waterfall hike elopement with a  fun reception afterparty and a large , intricate celebration at the Nobel Ridge Tree Deck in Washougal ,Wa with the Grooms scheduled arrival via helicopter ! 

108 couples in just two years, each a blessing to focus on like a Mala bead.
